And I don't find that a very ideal situation. My wifi works, but only once every 15 or so reboots. Though this time, something else seems to be wrong. Wifi used to work just fine, but I do remember that I had some trouble getting it to work back when I first installed Ubuntu (I think it was 11.04). So I formatted my partition first and then installed Ubuntu 14.04. I have recently switched from Ubuntu 13.04 to 14.04 which I did by matters of a full reinstall.
